We would like to welcome you and your child to Abbey View Pre-School and Nursery.

This is your child's first step away from home and their introduction to school life. At Abbey View they begin to play with other children, develop self-confidence, test their own skills and learn through stimulating individual and group activities. They develop valuable habits of work and play, learn to share, make choices and respect the rights of others.

We believe in total integration whenever possible whatever the ability or ethnicity. We feel very privileged to have your child at such a young age as they absorb so much, and each milestone reached is a great compliment to you as parents, and ourselves as teachers.

Together we can watch them blossom socially and achieve academically.

We promote the seven areas of learning within the Revised Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum Prime Areas:

"I haven't always had the time to stop and talk and really let you know how much my husband and I have appreciated the time and dedication given not only to our youngest child but to also to our oldest daughter during their time at Abbey View Nursery. We genuinely feel that you and your staff have had a huge influence in the girls early years and we really could not have picked a better setting for them. We shall truly miss visiting Abbey View but feel confident that you have enabled our youngest child to make the transition from nursery to school effortlessly. Please pass on our heartfelt thanks to all of your staff, they are a credit to you." The Thomas Family

"A huge big thank you for all you have done for our child and the children at Abbey View. She has enjoyed every day she has been at the Pre-School. We think you are brilliant!" The Collier Family

"We cannot thank you enough for all that you have done for our child. We are amazed at his development and how confident he has become. No doubt this has much to do with the guidance and encouragement you have given him. But most of all he seems a genuinely happy boy. Not once has he said he didn't want to attend Abbey View. We are so happy with his progress and enthusiasm for every task he undertakes - and we really could not ask for more than that. Our child will miss Abbey View very much, but i know he is well equipped with the early skills that he'll need at school. Thanks again for everything." The Chakma-Smith Family
